Monday

Although this post says Monday, it is actually some photographs of how we spent our afternoon yesterday - making (or watching others make) Hungarian sausages, with good company, great food and lots of room for kids to play.  :)

It would be wonderful to wake up every morning to a view like this.

Great night at my school reunion tonight - 25 years doesn't change a thing! :)

A holiday in 24 hours

With overseas friends in the country we decided to drive to see them.  It was, afterall, only a 2 hour drive, but the kids were so excited that we were going on a holiday.  It was, I admit, a nice way to end my week off work.  We stayed at a bed and breakfast for the night.  Nicholas was so cute, like a little old man.  He unpacked his little case and folded his pyjamas under the pillow, placing his slippers at the end of the bed.  I visited the most gorgeous garden shop that was next door.  We ate with friends, and talked with friends.  Nicholas and Audrey played in almost every park we saw. 

It felt good to see how much they enjoyed being away for the night.

heading north

we had some nice times, catching up with a friend who is currently living overseas. while he was here we looked at real estate in Denmark. i fell in love with this room for my kids to play in (i'd take the beds out and have a perfect the playroom).

and the grass there is green!
so Clara, as soon as the house is ready give us a call and we'll arrive on your doorstep with kids and bags in tow!

i just had to add this photograph, sent by a friend of himself and his daughter. can you tell they are French? very chic! ;-)
