For every Bird a Nest
Wherefore in timid quest
Some little Wren goes seeking round
Wherefore when boughs are free
Households in every tree
Pilgrim be found?
Perhaps a home too high
Ah Aristocracy!
The little Wren desires
Perhaps of twig so fine
Of twine e'en superfine,
Her pride aspires
The Lark is not ashamed
To build upon the ground
Her modest house
Yet who of all the throng
Dancing around the sun
Does so rejoice?
look what we found while walking home from the shop today!
a birds nest lying on the ground.
a birds nest lying on the ground. it seemed like such a good find, we just had to bring it home so that Nicholas could show his da.
so, in spite of what is obviously not blotches of white paint on one side, we carried it home on the top of the pram. Nicholas lifted it from the ground so carefully.
it is a special find~ twigs, straw and grass so intricately woven that it is a masterpiece.

"Look at the ravens. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds!" Luke 12:24
