and that is this weeks agenda. we are now on the down hill run of my time at home, so i am getting the kids "accustomed" to rising early. when going to their nan's they will need to be out the door at 6:30am! thankfully that will only be for two days in the week. but it may help with the night sleeping!! ;-) there are benefits to everything.
i'm impressed that this mornings early start saw all of us dressed and fed, beds made, dishes done, and even playdough made - all by 9:30am. i hadn't intended on the kids being up so early with me this morning, but they woke of their own accord.so a quiet-ish week for me. i did go out briefly yesterday and added a couple of books to my collection. a couple from a second hand book store too... so nice on the wallet (when you have a literary addiction like mine).
i read this the other night before going to bed:

i think that is why i am so into craft these days - well in my thoughts i am. my time seems to be consumed by so many other things that have to be done. it makes me realise how much of it was wasted before kids!! one day i hope to have a cupboard of 5 or 6 patchwork blankets, that can be pulled out to sit on at picnics or while playing outside. and then this morning i saw a picture of one being used at the beach. great idea! and then maybe one day N and A will remember them fondly. i remember a crocheted blanket of mum's. and a purple bag, full of fabric pieces. i wish she still had them!
so, here's to time, and finding more of it!
And you are soooooooo clever with the craft thing!!! Maybe that's because you are soooo creative, and so wonderful with colour!

ha! thank you. the difference between Melanie and I is that she sees the fruit of her labour. My fruit, and the labour, are still in my mind!!
