it's cheating really, 'cause technically it isn't finished yet. i ran out of red binding tape and still have three sides to go. but i couldn't resist trying it out. of course i initially imagined my kids dressed like they were from a catalogue posing happily. instead we went a la naturale - daggy clothes covered in lunch!!!!

wow looks great! Well Done!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of N covered in paste.. pretty funny.
it's gorgeous michelle! (and you did a great job with the photos - you wouldn't be bale to tell it wasn't finished if you didn't tell us all that!) lol.
ReplyDeleteLove that quilt, Michelle ... it's really beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteyou're all very kind... i like it for what it is - a kind of '50's inspired outdoors quilt... most of the squares aren't even and some of the fabric is puckered, but i like it 'cause it is somehing i made. even better - it is something i started AND finished!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteWell done! Love the colours :)
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous quilt Michelle!! You are so clever... I love the colours also!! Hahaha the word verification is "yes-sew-so"
