My boss says to me: "A Room of Ones Own". She has a house on the coast and offers it for me and some girlfriends, to take a break. She is all for working mums being able to recharge their batteries. I suppose yawning loudly in meetings is a giveaway, huh?
But I am excited because I am going to Sew It Together this year!
The other night I even pulled out my bag of gorgeous scraps, Heather Bailey, Heather Ross, French General and others and ironed them all so they neatly fit into a basket, instead of being scrunched up in a bag that I can't see. I forgot how enjoyable just looking at fabric can be! Now to think of which of my unfinished projects I'll take to work on. :)
